Anna-Maria Golm

I am from Leipzig in Germany and came to Cork in August 2012, after finishing high school. Being unsure how my path should continue, I decided to go for an au pair year in Ireland to develop my English skills as well as gain new experiences. After 2 months I stopped working as an au pair and started a job with Starwood Hotels & Resort, Inc. in Cork.

Being in the company for more than 3 years, I climbed the career ladder constantly working as a VIP Account Manager at the moment. To further develop my skill set and be able to reach management positions, I started the BA (Hons) in Business Studies with Griffith College Cork.

I particularly enjoy the more mathematical modules, like Quantitative Analysis of Business as well as Financial Accounting. I developed a strong mathematical skill during my time in High School.

In my free time, I enjoy PC gaming as well as photography. I travel as often as I can, together with my SO. We explore new exotic places, like Seychelles and Madagascar – each time coming back with new experiences and a lot of pictures on our SLR camera.
