Annaiyah Cook
Social Media Manager, Public Speaker, and Small Business Owner in Atlanta GA
Hey, I’m Annaiyah. I’m a student at Clark Atlanta University, a Mass Media Arts major with a concentration in Public Relations. I specialize in entrepreneurship, programming, and music. I come from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Outside of being a student at Clark Atlanta University, I am a substitute teacher and a lifeguard. I have a few accomplishments so far since being at my HBCU. I have secured a major internship with #Teamlegion where they focus on helping interns with their career goals, specially in public relations. Before I knew what I wanted to do, I began running a fan page for Queen Naija which helped me gain experience in the Public relations field. It's also helped me gain marketing management experience. Back in New Jersey I run a small business called 707 Ent Group where we specialize in event coordinating and celebrity events. We also provide photo booths, DJs, security and more. Since running the business, it has taught me how much networking, promoting, and connecting with people can really help your business expand. All in All, I am very passionate about becoming a publicist and working with different clients to help with brand development and a positive brand image. As a student, I'm still learning and perfecting my craft; however, meeting clients' expectations will be at the top of my list no matter where I am in my career.
