Anna Xia

Welcome!

My name is Anna Xia and I am currently in the midst of my studies at Ryerson University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in RTA Media Production with a Minor in Environment and Urban Sustainability. While I further my education, I am committed to gaining work experience within my field, through internships, volunteering, extracurricular activities, and other future positions.

I have gained vast experience with a strong background in video production, social media, and content creation as well as skills in various customer service roles. My most recent position has been as a Social Media and Marketing Assistant for Collectif BUS123, a theater company based in Montreal and Toronto. I am also involved as a Producer for the Course Union of RTA Students as an extracurricular role.

I anticipate working in the field of digital media and video production roles after graduation and hope to be able to create content related to my passions. My passions revolve around social justice issues such as climate action and I hope to combine my interest in the environment with creative roles. Outside of my professional career, I enjoy reading, watching films, baking, and hanging out with my cat Jasmine.
