Annaliese Cothron

Annaliese Cothron is a native of Pace, Florida. Born in Miami, she moved to Pace when she was seven years old and remained in that area until graduating with honors from Pace High School in the top 10% of her class. She then moved to Starkville, Mississippi, where she attended Mississippi State University after obtaining competitive scholarship funding. She completed her Bachelor of Science with a theme in Social Psychology in three years, graduating Suma Cum Laude. She studied abroad at the prestigious, multidisciplinary Crime, Law, and Psychology program at the Vzdelavaci Institut SCKCH before beginning her Master’s program at Mississippi State University in August of 2008. While procuring her Master of Science from MSU, she conducted her own thesis research in criminal profiling while simultaneously working on state-wide smoking bans and survey administration at the Social Science Research Center. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 2010 and a M.S. in Experimental Psychology with a theme in applied statistics. After moving to San Antonio in May 2010, she worked at a clinical investigative site, Cerebral Research, before settling into her current position at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio as a Research Statistician. She has more recently started her own consulting firm, Synergy Data Management Corp, which has been utilized as a resource for various state and community outreach programs to perpetuate good research and quality program evaluation.
