Annalise McMahan recently graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor of arts in psychology. Over the course of her time at the university she received a number of academic scholarships, including the Gateway Scholarship and Gateway Trustee Award. Annalise McMahan also spent time as a leader of the Delta Gamma sorority and as a volunteer with AGES, an on campus community service organization. She gained additional experience through multiple research assistant and intern opportunities, including roles with the university’s Department of Psychology and the Troy, Michigan simulation technology company Altair.
As a research assistant with the Center for Intervention Research in Schools (CIRS) at Ohio University, Ms. McMahan supported the PLAY Project, an initiative funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to learn more about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her work at Altair, meanwhile, emphasized aspects of human resources with a focus on international hiring opportunities. Her accomplishments at Altair included a health and wellness proposal presented to all company employees.
