Anna MacLeod, B.A., B.Ed., M.A., Ph.D.

Anna MacLeod is an Associate Professor in the Division of Medical Education at Dalhousie University. A social scientist, Dr. MacLeod uses ethnographic approaches to learn about medical education. She is currently the Principal Investigator on a three year Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada funded grant investigating medical education in a digital economy. She's also the Principal Investigator on a rsearch grant funded by the Roytal College of Physicians and Surgeons designed to explore sociomaterial considerations in postgraduate learners' use of eLearning.

In addition to her scholarly contributions, Dr. MacLeod is a dedicated teacher involved in delivering medical education across the continuum. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association for Medical Education.
