I hold a Laurea degree and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari, complemented by a postdoctoral position at the University of California Irvine, CA, USA. Additionally, I have expanded my knowledge through executive education programs at prestigious institutions such as Wharton, INSEAD, and SDA Bocconi.
My carrier journey began in advanced scientific research, focusing on optical fiber communication networks in laboratories across Europe and North America. In 2000, I joined Etnoteam, an innovative technology consulting firm in Italy, where I contributed in the field of internet services.
From 2008 to 2010, I served as Digital Marketing Director at Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, a leading Italian media company. My leadership continued as Vice-President of Condé Nast Italia's digital division and Technology from March 2010 to September 2012, where I spearheaded digital transformation for renowned brands like Vogue, GQ, Wired, and Vanity Fair, collaborating closely with Condé Nast International's digital headquarters. Between 2012 and 2017, I held the role of Digital Business & Information Technology Director at Il Sole 24 Ore, contributing to digital business growth and fostering a culture of digital transformation and data analytics throughout the organization.
Since 2017, I have been seriving as Digital Transformation Director & CIO at OVS Italy, where my accomplishments include leading the digital transformation journey, overseeing adaptable IT strategies, and fostering innovation in technology adoption, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and hybrid cloud solutions
