Anna M. Crawford

Anna M. Crawford currently lives and teaches (at the Zaporizhia National University) in Ukraine as a Peace Corps Volunteer.

She is originally from West Texas, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in English and Anthropology from Texas Tech University. Her favorite classes were Modern American Literature and Mesoamerican Culture.

She completed her Master’s degree at the Pennsylvania State University, during which time she (1) taught writing classes to undergraduates and (2) read and wrote about Virginia Woolf, modernist poetry, journalism, music, and ghosts. It only says “English” on her degree.

She has worked as an editor at a university press, a writing instructor, a writing tutor, and a substitute teacher.

Her interests include literature, feminism, travel, education, and local and international development.
