I am a phD student in the German Cancer Research Center. As you may imagine, I'm researching cancer. I document my daily life as a grumpy lab rat on Twitter. As a bonus, I try to explain sciency stuff to the public on my blog.

I have also started giving talks about science in several different settings.

I'm a social person, I go climbing, biking, swimming, diving, rowing and riding. I enjoy fine wine and whisky, international food, reading and classical music. However, you may also find me on a heavy metal festival with beer and BBQ.
