I’m Anna Odell. I’m a producer and project manager with a passion for animation and digital media.
In 2012, I project and production managed Scotland’s first ever mass produced film. Over a 3-month period we received over 400 hours/1500 submissions of footage. The feature-length documentary was released in February 2013 and was the first Scottish documentary to ever be screened in a Cineworld.
In 2011 I produced Scottish BAFTA winning short animation FIXING LUKA (Dir: Jessica Ashman), which won three Limelight Awards, including Best Film. Short animation BATTENBERG (Dir: Stewart Comrie), which I produced in 2010, won the New Talent BAFTA Scotland in 2010. Both films have played in film festivals worldwide.
Before this I worked for award-winning creative studio, ISO based in Glasgow where I produced animation and motion graphics for broadcast and museum clients. Previous to this I worked alongside the Development Executive on 12 short film scripts for regional screen agency EM Media.
I studied Visual Communication at Chelsea College of Art & Design, specialising in 2d animation. I have also worked as an executive assistant at Skype, Universal Pictures, BBC HD and JWT Advertising.
Please note, I am not the Swedish artist who faked psychosis.
