Anna Politano

Anna Politano

Anna Politano was born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

Anna attended Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduate Magma Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and minors in English, Spanish, and History. While at Cameron University, Anna became the managing editor of the school’s weekly newspaper, The Cameron Collegian.

She began her career working for The Guthrie News Leader as News Editor. Anna also worked for Delta Dental of Oklahoma as Communication Specialist.

In 2010, Anna became editor of Oklahoma Living magazine. She earned the Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC) designation from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and now serves on the CCC Board of Directors.

She is currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri School of Journalism pursuing a master’s on Media Management.

Anna is a member of the Statewide Editors Association where she serves at the chair of its E-media Committee. She is a member of Cooperative Communicators Association, the Oklahoma Academy, and Young Professionals in Energy. Anna lives in Guthrie, Oklahoma with her husband, Bruno, and their two children, Samuel and Julia.
