Anne Amwayi

I am Anne Bukasu Amwayi, a globally experienced Senior Technical Recruiter and People & Culture Partner with over a decade of expertise delivering end-to-end talent solutions across engineering, technology, R&D, and executive leadership functions.

Born and based in Nairobi, Kenya, I built my career as a remote recruitment partner for Nexer Telescope in Sweden, where I have spent 10 years embedded within some of Scandinavia's most iconic companies. My client portfolio includes Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Ericsson, IKEA, Sony, Bosch, Spotify, Apple, Scania, AstraZeneca, Hitachi, Tetra Pak, Kongsberg, and the European Spallation Source, spanning industries from automotive and telecommunications to life sciences and consumer technology.

I bring a rare combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. I have led full-cycle recruitment across international markets, built and scaled globally distributed recruiting teams, and designed people programmes that have measurably improved time-to-hire, candidate satisfaction, and workforce diversity. My work sits at the intersection of talent acquisition, employer branding, HR technology, and organisational culture.

What sets me apart is my approach. I am a natural relationship builder who believes that great recruiting is fundamentally about people, not process. I am also a speaker at HR and recruitment conferences across Europe and a champion of digital transformation in talent practices, having driven ATS optimisation, workflow automation, and data-driven workforce planning across my client engagements.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kenya Methodist University and am a Certified Internet Recruiter in progress through AIRS. I am fluent in English and actively open to remote opportunities across EMEA and beyond.
