I'm a 2015 candidate for an MA in Translation and Localization Management at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Previously, I worked as an English language teacher in several French primary schools through the Teaching Assistant Program in France.
I received my BA in French with Highest Honors from Oberlin College in 2012. My senior honors thesis was an English translation and commentary of Boris Vian's Vercoquin et le plancton. I also minored in linguistic anthropology and spent several years researching the morphology of property words in Classical Nahuatl.
When I'm not playing with language, I'm probably either playing the steel pan or playing around in the kitchen.
