Anne Grasee

Anne Grasee, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and owner of Life Change & Transitions, LLC, remains based in Denver, Colorado. Through Life Change & Transitions, Ms. Grasee provides consultation, psychotherapy, and other services for clients who are having difficulty coping with significant events in their lives such as divorce, aging, retirement, illness, or the death of a loved one. Anne Grasee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After completing her initial training, Ms. Grasee began her career in 1973 as a Supervisor for the Mental Retardation Commission in Colorado Springs, where she oversaw the work of four caseworkers and provided counseling to clients and their families. Following that experience, Anne Grasee joined the El Paso County Department of Social Services as a Principal Social Worker, arranging foster children’s placement in suitable homes and residential treatment programs.

In her subsequent position as Director of Social Services for the Rocky Mountain Kidney Center in Denver, Anne Grasee counseled kidney dialysis patients and their family members, and supervised a team of social workers. In 1980, Ms. Grasee left that position to become a Consultant and Psychotherapist specializing in life changes. Since then, she has worked with patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries, chronic mental illness, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. She has provided services for retirement communities, nursing homes, and home health care agencies, as well as individuals and families looking to benefit from the expertise of a life coach.
