HATE poor quality/meaningless INSET sessions, so built good reputation among school Behaviour Leaders for producing meaningful training, useful handouts & for rolling up sleeves to help and support.

Set up own company in 2008 & branched out into independent work. Successful projects have included :-

supporting the practical aspects of curriculum implementation of SEAL in Lead SEAL school;

a one-term (extended to five-term) contract to introduce SEAL, Climate for Learning, AfL and Restorative Approaches in a large specialist residential SEBD/ASD/Complex Needs school within the independent sector;

offering INSET on Motivating Reluctant Learners;

being asked to provide the annual guest lecture on Secondary SEAL, to the Portsmouth University ITT students.

Currently offering highly successful coaching programmes for secondary school teaching staff, young & not-so-young, struggling to retain motivation & sanity in face of difficult pupils & classes. Recent projects resulted in 95% of staff reporting full regain of confidence, skills & motivation. (Pupils also regain -engaging lessons from good teachers!)
