Annel Hagerman

Hi, I’m Annel Hagerman, an Instructional Coach for the Program for Exceptional Children (PEC/ACCESS) in Bibb County Schools. My educational journey began as a high school Spanish teacher before transitioning to special education, where I’ve served as a paraprofessional, literacy coach, and K-5 special education teacher in self-contained classrooms.

I hold a Specialist degree in Special Education from the University of West Georgia and completed the GaPSC Instructional Coaching Endorsement in 2023. My passion lies in coaching, Autism education, behavior interventions, adapted curriculum, and communication strategies for students with disabilities.

I’m proud to support teachers, students, and the school community while sharing knowledge on High Leverage Practices, GAA 2.0, and more. I’m also active with Best Buddies, Special Olympics, and the GaDOE Assessment Advisory Council.
