Annelie Biernat
Studio Director, Product Director, and Public Speaker in Berlin, Germany
I am a Studio Director and product leader with extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through all stages of game development — from concept validation to global launch and live operations.
Currently heading Trailmix’s Berlin studio, I co-founded the team & studio with a mandate to build for the future: developing new games, integrating new technologies, and shaping creative, data-informed processes that empower talented game makers across disciplines.
Previously, I directed a 40+ person cross-functional team at Wooga to deliver Switchcraft from pre-production to worldwide release, and oversaw long-term growth initiatives on Pearl’s Peril, one of the genre’s most enduring successes.
My work spans the most successful casual mobile genres — Match-3, Merge, and Hidden Object — giving me a broad toolkit to craft products that resonate with diverse audiences.
I thrive at the intersection of creativity and operational excellence — building teams, studios, and games that are not only commercially viable today, but designed to adapt and thrive in the years ahead.
