My name is Anneliese Helmy and I am from Australia. I am the designer and creative director for Anne Noelle Bridal. I have worked in the fashion industry for 18 years, with 6 of these years spent working in bridal couture. During this time my main roles have been as a pattern maker, however my work with some of Sydney’s leading bridal designers has involved developing new bridal designs and creating gowns from initial idea to completed dress. I studied fashion design in Australia and graduated as most successful student.
At Anne Noelle Bridal our main product range is wedding gowns but we also offer gowns for parties and bridesmaids. We currently offer full service made to order gowns in an exclusive and private setting in our boutique located in BKK1. As the designer I am able to offer one on one consultation with our clients to help our brides to choose their perfect gown. Our skilled and trained staff are on hand to assist the client and to ensure dresses fit perfectly. I personally oversee all of the fittings and the production of each gown. My team and I pride ourselves on offering high quality finishes, exceptional service and an enjoyable experience.
My bridal designs have been created for women who want to wear a well‐made and beautifully fitted gown on their special day. I am inspired by the golden days of gowns when the cut and silhouette were paramount. As a professional patternmaker I love to create gowns that will flatter the body. I spend a great deal of time to drape and perfect our patterns and choose fabrics that complement the design. Where possible I choose Cambodian silks and laces and embellish them with our designs. I also design exclusive hand finishes and matching accessories to complete the look.
I am very proud that Anne Noelle Bridal is a socially responsible business and we give part of our profits to fund social programs in Cambodia. Anne Noelle Bridal also ensures the dresses are manufactured under ethical conditions. I work with Samaki Sewing Network who employ staff at above minimum wage rates, train and build skills for staff and source staff from NGO’s that provide training in sewing skills.
