I recently transplanted from New York City to Charlottesville, VA. Having grown up in Brooklyn/Staten Island, I was ready to venture out into the "country" to start a new life in a smaller city. I graduated in 2011 from Gordon College (A small Liberal Arts college on the North Shore of Boston, MA) with an Art/Design Major and a Minor in Business Administration. As a visual artist, I have a strong connection to handmade design while also gaining inspiration from minimal scandinavian design. I am a firm believer in working with your hands as well as working within a limited color palette. I enjoy detailed illustration as well as simple shaped patterns.
I recognize the importance of being socially and ethically responsible in my design, so I especially enjoy using recyclable materials as well as working on projects for local businesses and non-profits. I see to use design as an accessible art form to better communicate ideas.
Please enjoy my portfolio!
