Anne Maree Barry is a film artist based in Dublin, Ireland. She is a graduate of both The Limerick School of Art and Design (BA Fine Art, 2002) and The National College of Art and Design, (MFA Media 2004). In 2006 her first experimental short film was the winner of Best Irish Short at the Darklight Film Festival. Her observational documentary short film, Rialto Twirlers, was officially selected for The Dublin International Film Festival. Her film project Missing Green screened at the Irish Film Institute 2013, and has subsequently been screened at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Les Rencontres Internationales at Palais de Tokyo and Gaîté Lyrique, Paris and Haus der Kulteren der Welt, Berlin. Anne Maree was the recipient of the 2016 HIAP Helsinki International Artist Programme exchange in association with Temple Bar Gallery and Studios. Previous residencies include The Fire Station Artists Studios 2015-2018 and The Liaison of Independent Film Makers of Toronto –LIFT with support from Screen Training Ireland.
