My name is Anne Palermo. I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of Akarso Bio, where we’re pioneering natural GLP-1 release technology to transform the future of food and ingredients. As a second-time founder and foodtech innovator, I’m passionate about bridging science, sustainability, and consumer health.

Previously, I spent over four years building Aqua Cultured Foods from startup to industry leader in alternative proteins. With more than 15 years of experience in CPG and food technology, my expertise spans R&D innovation, patent development, strategic partnerships, and commercial growth.

Today, I continue to focus on creating sustainable, scalable solutions that redefine how we nourish people and the planet.
