Anne T. Donahue

Ontario, Canada

Anne T. Donahue is a writer from Cambridge, Ontario who regularly contributes to The Guardian, Lifetime UK, Huffington Post Canada, Yahoo! Pop, Hello Giggles, and Bite among others.

After leaving school for the second time to focus on writing in 2009, she began a career in music journalism and started writing for NME, AUX, Chart Attack, and Spinner before shifting her focus to pop culture commentary and comedy in 2012. Since, her work has also appeared on Buzzfeed, Death + Taxes, Sportsnet, Elle Canada, and The Conversation, and in 2013 she acted as a creative consultant for CTV's Spun Out, on which she wrote punch up.

In addition to writing, she also hosts a weekly podcast, Bevs With Anne, which she performed live at the Calgary Folk Festival in 2013, and that same year she also co-hosted Women At Work, a web series that celebrated women in various industries with comedian Amanda Brooke Perrin. Before that, she appeared on the 2012 MTV News-produced week long series, "The Best In2012 . . . So Far" where she and five other music critics debated the year's newest and most relevant artists. However, none of this has come close to how much Anne enjoyed writing this bio since her favourite thing is referring to herself in third person.
