If I were to say I am retired, people might think that I have passed my prime and am sitting at home knitting. While I do knit, I fit it in after taking my grandson to baseball practice and sometimes while he is working on his school assignments. He is homeschooled. My husband is semi-retired which means that he is also involved with the grandson. When we are not doing kid things, we travel around the country in Vintage Trailers. This provides great material for writing and serves as learning experiences for all of us. When you are grandparents raising a grandchild there is no time for retirement.
