I really like being active outdoors.

Last year I walked a section of the Tour de Mont Blanc, and in previous years I've taken part in Munro Challenges in Scotland to raise money for WaterAid. I ran the Cancer Research UK Race for Life 5k last year, and again this year.

I love the performing arts.

I sang in a number of choirs at school, and now take part in a choir at my place of work. I attend the theatre and go to gigs whenever I can. Here's a list of my all-time favourite music.

Like a lot of people who work in publishing, I am obsessed with reading.

I read as much and as often as I can - everything from poetry to fashion magazines. My absolute favourite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. Here's a list some of my other favourite books, plus some I really want to read.
