Annie has been travelling the globe working Internationally in project management, architecture, development and masterplanning in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Europe, United States and Asia.
She brings together a passion for working with people to achieve high quality urban design projects within budget and timescales, coupled with sustainable innovation, a strong understanding of economic and political factors, steeped in practical and fiscal sensibility.
Her experience extends from working at the Mayor of London’s Office (Design for London and Transport for London) as an Urban Designer and then a Senior Project Manager, where she led on designing high-quality, functional and sustainable public spaces and managed a portfolio of highway and civic infrastructure projects and managed design reviews, facilitated urban design training and networking events for 32 London Boroughs (municipalities).
She has held positions as a Senior Project Manager for MMM Group, a Canadian Engineering Consulting firm and was an Associate Director for RBI, a Vancouver-based sustainability firm.
Her experience spans working with First Nations Governments to assess opportunities for Economic Development and Resource Sector Development, advising Developers on land development opportunities and consulting for capital planning for infrastructure and renewable energy (district energy) with municipalites and local government.
As part of her policy research background, she has conducted research for the Canadian Urban Institute , the University of BC and Ryerson University on social urban issues, environmental, sustainability, accessibility, health, migration and homelessness.
Her broad background in the areas of integrated infrastructure design, masterplanning, project management, architecture, engineering, renewable energy provides a range of skills to assist clients to create innovative projects, think about business solutions in a different way to implement sustainable and value-added projects.
