Hello, my name is Annie and I am an Assistant Director/Career Coach in the University Career Center at the University of Kansas.
Previously, I worked as an academic advisor where I helped students with their academic goals and degree progress. Before working for KU, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Education in Elementary Ed at KU (Rock Chalk!) and taught fourth and fifth graders. Now, I am back in school pursuing a graduate degree in Organizational Communication. I am a fan of all things Kansas related and specifically those connected to my hometown, Kansas City (Royals, Sporting KC).
When I'm not focused on career coaching, I like to engage with the world around me, whether that be through quality time with my partner, friends, and family or traveling to someplace new. Experiences shape you and play a crucial role in developing compassionate, well-rounded people who embrace diversity in all its forms. As a career coach, I hope to support you on your journey of discovery so that you leave the University prepared for what your future holds.
