Her passion for human geography and sustainability drives her approach to creating ecologically and socially resilient places, rooted in the stories and experiences of the communities she serves.
Dedicated to being an ally and supporting the movement from reconciliation to "reconcili-action," Annie strives to contribute to a more just and equitable society through her creative endeavors.
The maxim that truly sustainable design prioritizes healthy children, and results in healthy, green cities that are better for people of all ages, is the foundation for her handbook on Child Friendly Urbanism, the subject of her 2014 UTSOA Master Design Study, which can be viewed here.
