Annis Outlaw Halvorson

As a marathon runner, Annis Outlaw Halvorson has completed the Boston Marathon eight times, and her running has earned her recognition from media outlets such as ESPN and Naples News. In addition to training for her next race, Annis Outlaw Halvorson enjoys cooking with her husband and kayaking and hiking at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She has two daughters and a son. One of her daughters is a student at George Washington University, while the other is an associate attorney at Anthony & Partners, LLC, and her son works in fine dining in Philadelphia.

Annis Outlaw Halvorson and her husband are active contributors to Florida’s National Space Club. The organization promotes educational activities and recognizes scientific research and achievements in aerospace. Halvorson graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology and black studies. As a student, she earned dean’s list honors every semester. In addition to her education, she has experience working in radio and sales.
