Annittra Atler is the associate superintendent of special education for Albuquerque Public Schools. She has a background in special education and linguistic skills.

Annittra was exposed to the world of education through her mother's dance studio when she was a child. This experience inspired her to pursue a career in education. After graduating from university with a degree in elementary education, she worked with school administrators and teachers to develop various teaching strategies.

After graduating from university with a master's degree in elementary education, Annittra Atler pursued a career in administrative administration. She worked at a local elementary school for eight years before becoming the assistant principal. Annittra then became the district's special education specialist.

Annittra was excited to take on this new role as she was able to help students develop their independence and develop effective communication skills. She also helped them find satisfying jobs and feel valued by society. Currently, Annittra is a student at Grand Canyon University and is a candidate for the EdD program in special education. Her specialization in special education is in organizational leadership.

Being Annittra Atler gives her the rare opportunity to be a person of influence. Through her success in winning the Ms. Woman New Mexico United States competition, she was able to raise awareness about childhood hunger. In addition to being able to raise funds for local food banks, she also sought community support.

Through her backpack program, Annittra provides her students with the necessary food for their daily needs. This program is completely funded by donations and grants. Each of her students receives a personalized backpack filled with nutritious snacks.

Annittra also requested that a mobile food pantry operated by the Roadrunner Food Bank be brought to the school. Through donations from the state, the pantry has been able to provide the school with 2,500 pounds of frozen meat and dairy products each month.
