Ann Revell-Pechar

Ann Revell-Pechar has extensive experience in high-tech leadership positioning. For 25 years, Ann has been integral in the introduction of more than 125 technology products.

Ann co-founded Revell-Pechar Inc. PR and Marketing and ran it from 1993 until she joined Arketi Group in 2011. At RP Inc., she worked closely with entrepreneurs, introducing innovations from Aventail, F5, NetNanny, Real Networks, and managing the reputation of established firms from New Enterprise Associates to Ziff-Davis and Alcatel-Lucent. Several clients, like VoIP company Teleo, have been acquired by major corporations -- transitions whose communications were overseen by Ann.

In 2011 and 2012, Ann was VP and GM/Carolinas for Arketi Group, a BtoB technology marketing firm headquartered in Atlanta. Here she opened a new territory, establishing a foothold for the company and building a solid and highly regarded reputation. Other positions included VP of public relations at two advertising agencies, and as a marketing executive at several technology firms. She has extensive experience with Internet-centric companies, security, storage and enterprise technologies, and has worked with biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceutical companies.

Ann also taught technical and professional communications at Rochester Institute of Technology and Villa Julie College in Maryland.

She strongly values community involvement. Her volunteer positions in North Carolina include serving the Advisory Board for North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and on the marketing committee for Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED); in Atlanta she served as Chapter Board Chair and Executive Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta, as Global Communications Chair for Digitainment Georgia, and on business and technologyadvisory boards in Seattle and Baltimore.

She holds a Master of Public Administration from the State University of NY (Brockport), where her focus was on Management Information Systems, and a BA in Theatre from Seattle Pacific University.
