Ansley Alyce Jones

An award-winning competitive dancer and cheerleader, Ansley Alyce Jones currently performs as a member of Oklahoma State University's Pom Squad team. The 2011-2012 academic year marks her eighth year of cheerleading, a career which includes three years as an All American Cheerleader. She has also earned four National Champion Dance Soloist titles. An experienced dance teacher as well as a performer, Ansley Alyce Jones intends to continue sharing her love of dance as she moves into her professional life.

Ansley Alyce Jones will begin her sophomore year at OSU in the fall. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, in preparation to teach sociology and psychology while also coaching cheerleading, dance, or both. Her own high school career includes academic and social as well as athletic achievement, making her a positive role model for young adults,

Nominated for Prom Queen in her senior year, Ansley Alyce Jones previously served as a Sophomore Representative on the 2008 Homecoming Court. In her senior year, she also became a member of the Dugout Dolls, a group of young women selected as hostesses for The Woodlands College Park High School's baseball team. She fulfilled these responsibilities while volunteering at the local YMCA and library, as well as with such national charities as Toys for Tots and Relay for Life. In addition, she maintained continuous standing on the school's AB Honor Roll, and twice received the school's Swords of Success honor.

Ms. Jones remains intensively involved in philanthropic activities. Through her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, she played a key role in organizing and hosting the organization's charity casino night. She also volunteers with the Saville Center, a child advocacy center in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and acts as a reading buddy and child literacy advocate in local elementary schools.
