Anthony Villiotti

Boston, Massachusetts

Hello! I am a senior at Boston University's School of Management, where I am pursing concentrations in accounting and operations management. With a history involving work experiences in many different industries (consumer electronics, higher education, and music to name a few) and in many different functions, my mindset and perspectives have grown and developed to make me successful in any work environment. Currently, I am working at Boston University Office of Internal Audit as an Audit Intern where I assist senior auditors identify, quantify, and address areas of operational and financial risk within the University. Finally, in the Fall of 2015, I will begin my career in public accounting at Ernst & Young as a Commercial Assurance Associate in Boston.

In addition to developing my career, I make an effort to remain current and well versed in the music industry. While I have no musical talent (or ability), I take interest in learning about the companies, artists, and business decisions that move the industry and help create the music that we love. My favorite genres of music are RnB, HipHop, and Rap, and my favorite artists are Mariah Carey, Rick Ross, Kelly Rowland, Omarion, The-Dream, and Missy Elliott. Other than writing music business articles and analyzing the Billboard Hot 100, I find great pleasure in swimming laps, going on city runs, and planning my career. If you couldn't tell from my name, Italian food has a special place in my heart, which makes Boston the ideal place to live and work given the City's various options (North End, Bertucci's, Scoozi, etc.)
