Anthony Broussard has twelve (12) years of diverse energy sector knowledge from Fortune 500 to venture capital level corporations. He has worked throughout the energy supply chain covering a broad range of energy segments: renewables, power generation, electric utilities, natural gas, crude oil, LNG (liquefaction and regassification), and master limited partnerships.
Mr. Broussard has engaged project sponsors, developers and strategics providing asset valuation, transaction and structuring support for energy commodity linked project finance transactions valued from $4MM to $600MM. In this capacity, he worked with debt and equity investors from investment banks to private equity and hedge funds. He also worked in portfolio management were he performed investment research, markets assessment and economic analysis for a wide array of energy corporate debt issuance. Additionally, he has highly quantitative experience as an engineer. He engaged producers, explorers, marketers and drillers providing engineering consulting and project management services for oil and gas and petrochemical asset development activities valued from $1MM to $4B. In this capacity he provided technical specifications, feasibility studies, and risk management for commercial activities and strategic planning.
Anthony began his financial advisory career at a pension fund, Texas Teachers, and refined his core finance skills during his tenure at Pace Global in Fairfax, VA. He holds a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from the highly reputable Rice University MBA program. At Rice University, he studied hedging techniques, trading strategies, derivatives securities and energy commodities market, under Vince Kaminski. Moreover, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the nationally acclaimed Texas A&M University Engineering program. Mr. Broussard is the founder and Managing Principal of BRU Consulting, LLC.
