A.J. is a designer, cinematographer, photographer, editor, WordPress developer, and tech junky with a strong understanding of marketing and business practices. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Boston University in 2008, A.J. went to work for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation as a Jr. Graphic Designer where he was quickly promoted to Digital Media Designer in 2009. Since then, he has continued to be at the helm of organizational-wide initiatives in digital communications. From social media, web, video, mobile, broadcast systems implementations, and customer relationship management, he has been able to create great experiences across all mediums.
Simultaneously in 2010 he founded nine80six, a production company that focuses on the communication and marketing needs of small to medium size businesses, as well as individuals in the entertainment industry. A.J. has created many websites including those for friend and actor Davis Gaines (Broadway's longest running phantom), Sierra Canyon School's Clothing Company, and the Calabasas Rotary's Canine Classic Fundraiser. As content editor and projection designer, he has worked closely with Daytime Emmy Award winning director Larry Carpenter and musician Shane Alexander on the launch of their new rock musical The Freedom Machine.
From 2012-2013 A.J. was the west coast co-producer for BroadwayWorld.com and produced concert footage for entertainers David Burnham (The Federal) and Kristin Chenoweth (Hollywood Bowl) as well as covering red carpet events at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, California. During that same time, he served as Marketing Consultant to Musical Theatre West in Long Beach, California, producing theatrical promos and multi-cam mixes of entire productions.
In 2015 he shifted his focus again to devote more time to film making, winning a top spot with On the Street and Under Feet during the Fusion Mini Doc Challenge which earned him 18 months of exclusive disribution on TV.
