Anthony Palavi

Student in Santa Cruz, California

WELCOME to my page.

I am a recently graduated master's student from UCSC, excited to jump back into the workforce. Relevant social media links are below. At present, I am focused on crafting a career where I can leverage my sales hacking skills and knowledge of digital marketing to help grow a company I care about.

Blogs that occupy my before-bed reads are from the following hack wizards: Aaron Swartz, Derek Sivers, and Tim Urban. One word that describes me: centered. My favorite living musicians or artists: Bunny Wailer, Aston Barrett, and Norah Jones.

Short term, 6-month goal: use HTML5 & CSS to write the raw code for my blog which will speak about life, nerdy stuff, poetry, and much more. The vision is that my blog will serve as a central hub where unguided youth can contribute to, and become inspired by, the technological, philosophical and artistic discussions.

Long term, 5-7 year goal: build a self-sustainable non-profit organization that will benefit those South Pacific island countries most vulnerable to cyclones, namely Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

Books I am currently (re)reading: "Sales Hacking" by Max Altschuler, "The Effective Executive" by Peter F Druckers, and "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau. All book summaries and how I've applied the principles taught in those books will be provided in my upcoming blog, mentioned above.
