Anthony Pappas

Anthony Pappas, a Norwich University graduate, was born in Durango, CO, and his career journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment, dedication, and insatiable desire to learn. As a passionate political science student, he made significant research contributions and helped shape policy discussions in international relations. This journey began with his undergraduate studies when he joined Norwich University in 2015 as a cadet, driven by a strong desire to serve his country.

Majoring in political science, he soon ventured overseas, participating in a study abroad program in Berlin, Germany, in 2017. This experience deepened his interest in international affairs and was followed by a pivotal field research opportunity in Singapore in 2018. During his time in Singapore, he interacted with top security and international relations professionals, which helped shape his budding career. He also attended the 17th Asia Security Summit, gaining invaluable insights into global security issues.

His academic and field experiences were complemented by his contributions to notable projects, including his work with Dr. Sarwar Keshmiri on the book "China's Grand Strategy: Weaving a New Silk Road to Global Primacy" in 2018. His intellectual prowess and dedication were evident as he contributed to this significant body of knowledge. While at the National Defense University at Fort McNair, Washington, DC, he further enriched his understanding as he interacted with international defense personnel and engaged with several prominent agencies, including NATO and Human Rights Watch.

Anthony Pappas completed his undergraduate degree at Norwich University in May 2019, graduating with a major in political science. Shortly after that, he began his military training, joining the Army for Officer Candidate School and Ranger School, demonstrating his commitment to his nation and personal development.
