Rhode Island’s Anthony Rust is an accomplished Impact Investor advocating socially responsible investing (SRI) and economically targeted investing (ETI), with the dual purpose of achieving a financial return on a risk adjusted basis as compared to other investments and creating a positive economic or social benefit. As one of the investment industry’s leaders in impact investing and establishing SRI/ETI investing as a viable strategy, Anthony Rust currently co-manages an impact investment fund for the Royal Bank of Canada. He recently took on this role after several years as Senior Managing Partner at Newport Capital, the Rhode Island-based private equity firm he co-founded.

He has successfully sold and exited interests in the world of private equity.
Anthony Rust received a Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University before attending the Graduate School of Political Management, a joint program of George Washington University and the State University of New York.
