A 20-year veteran of AXA Financial, Inc., Anthony Sages currently serves as the Chief Sales Officer and Divisional President of AXA Advisors, LLC, the retail distribution arm and broker-dealer for the financial conglomerate. Overseeing 2 divisional presidents, 70 branch managers, and 7,000 financial services representatives, Anthony Sages provides strategic planning and is responsible for the recruitment, training, and retention of new AXA Financial, Inc. professionals.
Since his start with AXA Financial, Inc., Anthony Sages has shown an exceptional ability to recognize and develop the potential of new financial advisors. Rising steadily through executive management positions in the greater New York area, Anthony Sages has consistently exceeded the firm’s goals for the productivity and retention of sales associates and financial representatives. Anthony Sages’ achievements earned him an AXA Financial, Inc. National Builder’s Trophy for leadership and managerial skills. The first two-time winner of AXA’s President’s Trophy award, Anthony Sages began his career by earning membership in the elite Million Dollar Round Table association, an independent group of international financial representatives representing the top 1 percent of brokers and agents.
Anthony Sages received a scholarship to play football at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Continuing at the University for graduate studies, Anthony Sages completed an M.B.A. in 1983. Additionally, he successfully finished the Dartmouth Executive Management Program.
Anthony Sages’ competitive spirit carries through in both his personal and professional life. A two-time finisher of the ING New York City Marathon, Anthony Sages enjoys skiing and working out at his gym. A world traveler, he has participated in big game hunts across the globe.
