A human resources professional with a keen interest in diversity and inclusion, Antiwan Henning serves as a director of operations with the United States Army in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Charged with operating an employee training development program, Antiwan Henning served as the Army’s first diversity and inclusion director and as director of human resources development.

Antiwan Henning holds a bachelor of science in human resource management from Illinois State University and a master of business administration from Central Michigan University, as well as a graduate certificate from Cornell University. Earlier in his career, he served as human resource and operation manager at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and as a logistics supervisor in various domestic locations and in Iraq, Germany, and Afghanistan.

Alongside his Army responsibilities, he serves in a volunteer capacity as the chief executive officer of Saving Armed Forces Members, a non-profit organization dedicated to freeing wrongfully convicted military members. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and watching his son play football for the University of Michigan.
