Antoine Blech, also known as Antoine Bleck The French Crooner, is the brain behind the project of the new French bistro in Greenwich - Le Penguin. He has achieved that great project with his friend Anshu Vidyarthy;
Providing the best french cuisine in a special intimate place like Greenwich in a romantic yet trendy manner.

Before opening Le Penguin, that french bistro in Greenwich, he has built up a strong 30 years professional experience.
Starts in the restaurant business at le Relais in New York City in 1981, the hottest restaurant in the upper east side of Manhattan at the time.
Moves to Los Angeles, and work two years with Wolfgang Puck at Spago, the restaurant to the stars!
Next stop L’Orangerie, the most romantic and exquisite French establishment in Southern California, which would have inspired him when creating the same romantic atmosphere in his new bistro Le penguin in Greenwich.
Back to the east coast in 1987 and 3 years at Le Bilboquet , the clubby, uberchic and exclusive 35 seat French bistro, where you could find Botero, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz, or Bono seated at the next table.
In 1990 opens Le Comptoir on 67th Street, Tattler magazine said that the best XMAS gift of that season would have been a friendship with Antoine, the maître D’ at Le Comptoir
1993, worked as a maître D at Le Colonial the very chic first Vietnamese restaurant in NY “Indochine style”, before opening his first restaurant: Orienta. Then opened his restaurant Opia in 2001.
And now comes Le Penguin in Greenwich, CT in summer 2013, with Anshu Vidyarthy.The newest fine dinning place in Greenwich, the romantic French bistro Le Penguin opened just a few weeks ago, with a much appreciated immediate tremendous success.
Romantic, cozy with that French “je ne sais quoi" that makes it an addictive space with a soul. Soul in the air and soul in the food.
