Dr. Antoniades is a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Services group. He has a decade of corporate finance experience, with emphasis in business and securities valuations, real options and derivative valuations, and risk management issues.
He is currently leading all projects for the Financial Instruments group within Valuations, including valuations of complex equities, equity derivatives, convertible bonds, other fixed income securities, total asset swaps, derivative instruments, and other contingent assets and liabilities.
Most recently he was a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey's New York office. As a member of the firm's Financial Opinions & Advisory Services practice, he has been involved in many engagements, including valuations and financial opinions.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was in the London office of Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services practice. Before that, he was a Director at Real Options Group, and, earlier, he was a Senior Associate in the Menlo Park and Los Angeles offices of Standard & Poor's CVC group (at the time, a part of PricewaterhouseCoopers).
He lectured in finance at the University of Cyprus, where he developed and taught—Business Valuations, Corporate Financial Management and Financial Risk Management—to M.B.A. students. He also lectured in the mechanical and aerospace engineering department at UCLA.
Dr. Antoniades received his diploma in chemical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, and he holds a postgraduate diploma in management. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering while a Fulbright scholar, with a specialization in process control, optimization and applied mathematics from UCLA. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the designation of Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He is registered with FINRA (formerly the NASD) as a General Securities Representative (Series 7 and 63).
