About Me
I am biologist and fisheries policy expert with over six years of experience in international fisheries management, policy negotiation, and compliance affairs. As a lead negotiator in Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs), I have successfully driven science-based sustainability policies while ensuring 100% compliance with management meassures in Pacific Ocean fisheries.
Currently acting in an Ad Hoc position at IATTCas Chair of the Compliance Committee.
To deepen my expertise in sustainable fisheries management, I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Fisheries Policy and Management at the University of Akureyri.

- Led negotiations securing a 29% quota increase for El Salvador’s tuna fleet (ICCAT).
- Head of Delegation in multiple IATTC, ICCAT, and WCPFC meetings.
- Developed national fisheries and aquaculture regulations in protected marine areas.
