As a Doctor in Systematic & Analytical Musicology (University Sorbonne - Paris IV), he has been teaching in the Music Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Greece (2009-12), has published a number of papers and articles on Iannis Xenakis’ and Anestis Logothetis’ compositional procedures and has been a member of international symposia Scientific Committees and international Research Groups. He has been collaborating with Boston University & Allea III (2012), the Goethe Institut of Athens & Greek Composers Union (2012), the Athens Festival & Ergon Ensemble (2011), the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens & About Cultural Center (2009), the Bibliothèque nationale de France (2007-08) and the National Pedagogical Institute of Greece (2003-04).
As a music theorist, he is the author of the treatise "From Tonal to Contemporary Music Theory" (1999) and articles on Ancient Greek Music Theory and Poetics. He’s been the producer of "Μούσα Πολύτροπος" radio program (Greek National Radio 3) on Greek Antiquity Music Poetics (2002-03). He is teaching in conservatories since 1983.
As a composer and a member of the Greek Composers Union (G.C.U.), he is teaching composition and musical analysis and has presented his works in numerous concerts.
