I am an IB MYP English teacher and Head of Global Citizenship Experiential Education (GEx) at Mulgrave School, the International School of Vancouver, a PreK-12 Continuum School in West Vancouver, Canada. My responsibilities beyond the classroom include Grade 6-12 engagement in global citizenship with a focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developing youth leadership skills and mindsets via immersive local and global experiential learning programmes. I have been teaching English and other subjects such as Humanities for over 25 years at independent schools (and teaching IB for over 15 years).
