I graduated from the University of Melbourne and have since accumulated 25 years experience in architecture. After working for various leading architectural practices, I established Di Mase Architects in 2002. Over the years I have developed strength in my main areas of interest, particularly with respect to giving new life to old buildings, crafting new buildings into the existing landscape and the use of daylight design in residential and commercial situations. I continue to develop my own skill set and knowledge, and I'm constantly seeking out new ways of design thinking through research. Via distance education, I'm currently undertaking a Masters of Lighting Design with the Queensland University of Technology. In 2012, I participated in the University of Florida’s first Daylight Design Thinking workshop in Vicenza Italy.
