Anu Odubanjo is a writer and media entrepreneur with a wealth of experience of 8+years in online media, content writing, content strategy and social media management .
She is the founder of FabWoman, a digital lifestyle website started in 2017 to inspire and educate Nigerian women.
She is also a contributor at Pulse Nigeria where she creates beauty and health content.
She had a brief stint as community engagement manager for United People Global, a not for profit organization based in Switzerland where she was responsible for engaging and mobilising over 4000 community members to take actions in making the world a better place.
She was instrumental in growing online news and entertainment websites, NigerianMonitor and Stargist from scratch to becoming top 100 websites in Nigeria.
In her capacity, she trained and worked with talented creatives who have become some of the best hands in the content and digital marketing space.
She and her team were contracted to develop and manag the website and social media strategy for the women initiative of Diamond Bank (Now Access Bank) in 2018.
She has also worked on various campaign projects with brands and agencies like FMCB, Terragon, Google.
In 2019, she was headhunted by Opera News as one of their pioneer content creators for its hub in Nigeria.
Her constant yearn for self development has made her partake in various trainings e.g Paradigm Initiative’s Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum (April 2019), Africa Check Fact Checking Workshop (March 2019) and British Council Training and Capacity Building Workshop for Nigerian Journalists (Dec 2018) to mention a few.
She also has a passion for making impact in the little way she can.She is currently a volunteer with The Special Foundation and Lagos Food Bank.
