I am a full-time MBA student at ‘The Chinese University of Hong Kong’ with majors in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Before heading to pursue MBA, I worked with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd for six years as external technology consultant to global clients such as Nokia, Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel-Lucent, Xerox and Morgan Stanley. I teamed up with high-profile project teams and collaborated with highly experienced practitioners in order to provide clients an independent, objective analysis of their current systems and give them recommendations for the future investment of resources. I was involved in defining and designing creative solutions that addresses clients’ specific business needs. My responsibilities were thus ranged from providing technology based solutions to managing delivery teams at multiple locations.
At present, I am also partnering with Sequent Info-systems, a telecom applications vendor in Vietnam, as technology strategy consultant. I built strategic alliances for telecomm product development with executive committee members of Communication Association of Hong Kong (CAHK). Together, we are developing mobile applications for one of the largest provider of communications services in Hong Kong and one of Asia's leading players in Information and Communications Technologies. My failed brief entrepreneurial stint in developing applications for Media and Entertainment sector has taught me important lessons of failure management.
