Anuraag Rath (born Feb 3 1998) is a Software App Engineer(A.I Engineer) at Amazon, where he designs and builds AI-powered applications, automation platforms, developer tools, and agentic systems for multiple teams across the organization. Operating as an A.I Engineer, he works closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop tailored AI solutions that drive measurable impact.
In 2025, Anuraag won the Global Amazon Books Hackathon and received the Best AI Productivity Award for developing an AI-driven solution that improved productivity across multiple teams and workflows.
His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Game Theory, Nonlinear Dynamics, Mathematical Economics, Complex Adaptive Systems, and Human Decision-Making. He is particularly interested in understanding how intelligent agents, incentives, and emergent behavior shape technological and social systems.
A lifelong autodidact, Anuraag's interests extend across software engineering, machine learning, statistics, operations research, computational social science, and economics. He regularly builds independent research projects and open-source applications, many of which are published on Hugging Face and GitHub.
Outside of technology, he is an enthusiast of Baroque and Jazz music, a science fiction reader with a particular appreciation for Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke, a former drummer, and an avid explorer of global cuisines. He believes that some of the most interesting ideas emerge at the intersection of disciplines rather than within them.
