Anushree Goel is Communications and Project Management specialist with 7+ years' experience in public health program implementation, public policy and advocacy, entrepreneurship and journalism.

She is a Master of Public Health (MPH) candidate (2023) at Johns Hopkins University and has a MA in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics and BA (Honors) in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College.

Anushree served as Officer on Special Duty to CEO, National Health Authority, Government of India, where she led the communications and innovation strategies to implement Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, the world's largest government-funded health assurance scheme providing cashless inpatient healthcare to 500 million low-income citizens, and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. She founded the nationwide Ayushman Bharat Startup Grand Challenge that was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, in 2019 and engaged 300+ healthcare startups to tailor innovative solutions.

Anushree has designed and delivered national public health communications campaigns aimed at social and behavior change through both traditional and social media.

She is a prolific writer and has written speeches and op-eds for government leadership including the former President of India, current Prime Minister of India, Union Ministers, and chief executives of leading multi-national corporations - Apollo Hospitals, Infosys, Forbes Marshall, NIIT. etc.

She is skilled at copywriting and has written scripts for TV shows, radio and social media promotions.

She has designed, implemented and scaled-up multiple high-profile national initiatives for Government agencies like Niti Aayog, Ministry of Health, Departments of Health, Commerce, Science & Technology, Biotechnology, Confederation of Indian Industry to strengthen and advocate for national entrepreneurship and innovation policies - Startup India and Digital India.

Anushree has demonstrated experience of business development and building strategic partnerships with international development and donors like GIZ, United Nations (UNIDO), World Intellectual Property Organisation, and with organizations like Indian Angel Network, Indian Venture Capital Association, Symbiosis University, SIDBI.

An entrepreneur, she co-founded Agrosupermart, a B2B startup to help farmers, traders and artisans find markets.

She is passionate about strengthening health systems, addressing gaps in delivery, and advancing health equity across diverse contexts.
