A. Anvari currently leads the experimental testing program for Yahoo search. Previously, he has worked at silicon valley-based companies such as Advertising.com (acquired by AOL,NYSE:AOL), Oki America, Inc. and Open Telephone Network (acquired by Telecommunication Systems,NASDAQ:TSYS). He has also worked on the software requirements management system for the mars rover at NASA Ames Research center. During his career, he has been responsible for the development of analytics platforms for online advertising companies, web-based account management systems for Internet Service Providers as well as architecting ERP solutions for streamlining various aspects of business process. He has co-founded two leading online information providers IranSource.com and Pendar network where has been responsible for their technology and architecture. Ahmad serves as the Chairman of the Board at Festive Art, Inc., an online resource for promoting the Persian art that has generated thousands of dollars in revenue for the Iranian artists. He has also co-founded 7rooz.com, an online events calendar targeting the Persian community. He often talks about technology at Haftegi Radio, which he co-founded in 2005. Ahmad holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering - Program Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology where his main research focus was Information and Internet Technology.
